For all those thinking of choosing Pant-Teg as a holiday destination or a stop over on route I can assure you that you're making a wise decision. (But 1 night is really not enough to try out all the lovely food and to enjoy being thoroughly spoilt.) We stopped just one night but that was a mistake. Sadly Yola was booked for the next night else we would have stayed another night. the accomodation was lovely, top class, the breakfast was fresh and superb,(lovely fresh- i mean REALLY fresh fruit salad followed by full English with home made bread. I watched the eggs taken from the hen coup the night before. We opted for evening meal having booked when i booked the room as I thought we'd be fed up from all the travelling. This was a wise decision we were tired and the food was excellent. We found another B&B for the next 2 nights and whilst this was also very good I think Yola has the edge as her little extras are wonderful and so noticeable. With no long lists of "do's and don'ts" the atmosphere is very relaxing and the Cottage clean, comfortable and very cosy. Kevin's "Hippie Hill" stories & Yola's home cooked food were both wonderful - best tasting shortbread cookies & chocolate mousse ever. The bed is extremely comfortable as are the sofas.If there is only two of you you can have a shower room each! There is everything you need for your self catering holiday and the property is in a wonderful setting. Feed your leftover vegetables to the goats and the chickens and watch the birds on the feeder outside the kitchen.Not forgetting the welcome pack of milk, eggs, fruit, sweeties and wine! We loved the gardens and flowers. Aaron enjoyed visiting the goats and hens every morning. We saw this one grey squirrel every day outside our kitchen window. I think he was quite interested in the bird nuts. The variety of birds in your surroundings was amazing too. We managed to see an owl one night while driving back up the the road towards your cottage too. Offcourse, your hospitality and cottage was outstanding too. We really enjoyed our mini-break to Wales and the sunny weather helped too. We didnt get to say farewell that morning of our departure as we left before 8 o' clock and arrived in Holyhead at 11.45. We just had time for lunch and a stroll around Holyhead before boarding the boat at 1.30. I would recommend your cottage to anyone as a great place to stay on holiday.
